L’pool St

There seems to be this love affair between immigrants and the desire to dress their children extremely well. My home was no different.

My mother and I didn’t share many moments in my childhood, but one thing I will never forget is the annual trip to “Liverpool St” to buy suits and ballroom dresses for myself, my brother and my sister. We would entre a shop that looked much like many other shops, and step out adorned by the hand of God.
