What does it mean to work from a place of rest?

Here at Side-Xuest, we aim to demonstrate the benefits of participation and collaboration for the betterment of people and place.

From strategic support to event/session design and delivery, to producing promotional materials and design elements supported by research.

We believe that it is possible to engage intentionally in ways that produce valuable outcomes; without having to depend on structures which include the burden traditionally associated with the act of ‘working’.

We believe that by applying our approach, we can create new access paths for members of our societies who may otherwise find challenges in the way of their inclusion.

Adé Farouk Yusuf (aka Xuest) is a Nigerian born artist, cultural producer and strategist raised in the borough of Barking & Dagenham.

Through a passion for people and the things that make them who they are, Adé aims to highlight elements of our shared lived experience through a warm, honest (and at time challenging) repositioning of perspectives.

He is also a former Head of Legacy Strategy at Every One Every Day which aims to demonstrate the regenerative effects of participation, collaboration and community.

Adé is also the author of 'To Die And Live Again', a collection of poems reflecting on what it means to wake from a life lived unintentionally.
