Sometimes things don’t always go to plan. For this shoot I woke up to the lovely pitta patta of giant raindrops, each attempting to break into and enter my home.

Undeterred (perhaps unwisely), we made our way to Kyoto Gardens to wage war with God’s tears. It started slowly, but eventually my rolls of 35mm film were smothered in exposures, much like the rain had smothered my face (kindly hiding my tears).
